For a hard private well this is the configuration that makes sense, since scale control and serviceability both matter more on well supplies than on municipal ones. As with Aquasana's other complete solutions the bundle carries no discount, so the only question is whether you want the conditioner and bypass now or later. What it still does not address is iron or sulfur, which is where wells most often fail.

This is the Rhino Well Water with UV supplied with all three available upgrades fitted: the tall salt-free water conditioner, the pro-grade bypass kit and the low-maintenance pre-filter.
The filter tank and UV stage are unchanged from the base well system, rated for 500,000 gallons or up to 5 years with the UV certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 55, Class B. The conditioner is the meaningful addition here, since well water is frequently hard, and it prevents scale without salt, a drain line or demineralisation. The bypass kit allows filter changes without shutting off the house supply and the low-maintenance pre-filter lasts three times as long as the standard element.
The three upgrades total $2,244 over the $3,498 base system, which matches the bundle price exactly.
