Most well setups stop at iron and hardness. The ULTRA combo is SpringWell's most complete well water setup, stacking three systems: the WS air injection iron filter, the SS salt-based softener, and the CF whole house carbon filter. Iron, manganese and sulfur come out first, hardness second, then chlorine byproducts, VOCs and PFAS through the carbon bed.
That third stage is what separates it from the standard well combo. A well is not chlorinated, but it can carry pesticides, herbicides and industrial contamination that air injection and ion exchange do nothing about. The CF stage covers that ground.
