- Only one owner's account of the MIDI is usable: he runs two wall-mounted MIDIs in an eight-panel PRO setup and says he loves them (July 2026).
- Eight PRO ULTRA owners post across seven threads in r/redlighttherapy and r/flashlight between September 2025 and July 2026, four of them saying outright that they are pleased and one running six ULTRAs beside two MIDIs.
- One ULTRA owner (January 2026) regrets buying once he saw how little of the output goes to the 1060 nm and blue bands, and calls the 20 percent restocking fee, about $400, criminal; two find the stands awkward for lying down or sitting.
- Commenters in the August 2025 launch thread call the PRO not worth the premium over a BIOMAX for a single-panel setup.
Joovv Mini 3.0
- One Reddit post comes from use of the Mini 3.0: in August 2025 an r/redlighttherapy poster who had used her mother's Mini 3.0 for about a month said she wanted her own but found the price hard to justify, and asked for cheaper alternatives.
- In an October 2025 thread weighing it against the PlatinumLED BioMax 300, a shopper pointed out that the Mini has only one red and one near-infrared wavelength, and said her older metal-cased full-body Joovv had lasted seven years.
- No failure, fan or warranty report names the Mini 3.0.

- No written hands-on test covers the MIDI.
- Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester that received the PRO ULTRA free from PlatinumLED and earns PlatinumLED commission, tested the ULTRA in August 2025 and recorded the highest average output of any wall panel it had measured, 101 mW/cm2 over nine spots on a spectrometer.
- It faulted the 20 percent restocking fee, a low-power mode that halves output so panels can share an outlet, almost no blue or 1060 nm output, a display that shows only the timer, no saved presets and a fiddly hanging hook.
- In a companion piece the same month, with the same tie, it wrote that it would buy the BIOMAX 900 rather than pay $300 more for the ULTRA.
Joovv Mini 3.0
- Three written reviews name the Mini 3.0, and they disagree on its value.
- Light Therapy Insiders bought its unit and earns commission from rival panel brands whose codes sit in the same review; it measured 53 mW/cm2 averaged over nine points on a spectrometer, 28 W of total light and 52 dB at 6 inches, reported a high electric-field reading and a static noise with the panel switched off, and put the cost at $39 per watt against under $15 for a good tabletop panel.
- Hunker (September 2021), whose writer received the unit free from Joovv, used it daily for three months and named only the price and its bulk as drawbacks.
- SPY (February 2023, commission links) found it heavy for its size, bright enough to need the supplied glasses and warm, with a stand that made positioning easy.

- Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester who says on camera that PlatinumLED sent the panels and that he earns PlatinumLED commission, made three PRO videos in August 2025: a first look at all four sizes, a PRO ULTRA review (about 17,000 views) and a PRO ULTRA against BIOMAX 900 comparison titled "Save Your Money" (about 19,000 views).
- He praises the output, the zero-gap edges for joining panels and the per-wavelength control, and faults the restocking fee, the half-power low mode, the small blue and 1060 nm share and a display that does not show the active settings.
Joovv Mini 3.0
- Two channels have reviewed the Mini 3.0.
- Alex Fergus, whose descriptions carry a Joovv link without a discount alongside codes for several rival brands, reviewed a unit he bought in a 46-minute video (January 2023, about 2,800 views) and a 10-minute version (April 2023, about 4,800 views): he measured 53 mW/cm2 on average with a spectrometer, disliked the fan's pitch and a static noise with the panel off, flagged high electric-field readings, and said that at the price he would choose a Mito panel instead.
- Laptop Mag's 99-second First Look (April 2022) was positive about the compact modular design and the separate red, near-infrared and Recovery+ modes.
