Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission from competing brands including Mito and holds no Joovv code, measured 59.2 mW/cm2 averaged over nine spots and 72.4 at peak on a spectrometer, against the more than 100 Joovv states without a distance. Intertek lists the Solo 3.0 as ETL classified to the medical electrical safety standard; there is no 510(k), and Joovv's "Class II Medical Device" badge describes the exempt ILY product code it is listed under. Reviewers praise the build, handles, app and mounting options and fault the price per LED, the fan's 62 dB and a high electric field close up. Buyers get a 2-year warranty and a 60-day return at their own shipping cost, and the kits add Solos rather than a larger panel.

The Joovv Solo 3.0 is Joovv's half-body panel and the module its larger kits are built from: 36 x 8.75 x 2.34 in and about 14 lb, with 150 LEDs, 76 at 660 nm and 74 at 850 nm, in a polycarbonate frame with a fan. Joovv rates it at 250 VA and up to 88 W of light, states more than 100 mW/cm2 without a distance, and recommends 10-minute sessions at 16 to 24 in. The $1,699 price includes the Boot Floor Stand; with the door mount it is $1,899 and the wall mount $2,049. It has Bluetooth app control, a pulsed Recovery+ mode, an ambient mode and an alarm, and ships with protective eyewear.

No Reddit owner report names the Solo 3.0 itself; the reports naming a 3.0-generation Joovv come from kit and Mini owners and are split. A Duo 3.0 owner on r/redlighttherapy (April 2025) uses it daily and called it "the best hands down", and a gym user of a six-panel Elite 3.0 (January 2023) preferred it to the Mito kit he later bought for home. Against that, a Mini 3.0 pre-order buyer (June 2021) said the box arrived without the device and support did not resolve it, and a Solo 2.0 owner (October 2025) reported one internal part failing repeatedly and about $1,300 spent on a factory repair.

Wareable (May 2026), which earns affiliate commission, hung its Solo on a door and rated it 4.6 out of 5 for build and ease of use, noting occasional app glitches and cheaper alternatives. KetoConnect (April 2023), a Joovv affiliate, praised the app, the wake-up alarm and the three mounting options after about three years with a Solo.

Two creators have reviewed the Solo 3.0 on YouTube, and both have a commercial tie. Alex Fergus carries affiliate codes for competing brands and links Joovv without a code; his November 2021 review (about 4,500 views) read 74.2 mW/cm2 at peak and 853 nm for near-infrared on a spectrometer and 62 dB, faulting the price per LED, electric fields from the two-pin plug and the fan's pitch while praising the redesign, handles and pulse button, and his March 2022 follow-up put the 3.0's peak at 74 against 48 for the Solo 2.0. Katie Moore (November 2021, 20,879 views) was sent the unit by Joovv and gives a Joovv affiliate code; she liked the light weight, the pre-assembled panel, app control and the included glasses, and disliked the fan noise and the price.

Its Trustpilot profile reads 1.4 from 76 reviews, 86 percent one-star against 5 percent five-star, on a profile Joovv has not claimed, has never invited reviews to and does not answer; the recurring complaints there are email-only support, refused returns and owner-paid shipping on warranty repairs. The BBB rates Joovv, Inc. B+ without accreditation, with 14 complaints closed in three years, and no Joovv device has been recalled.
