Mito Red LightMitoPRO 1000+
One owner posted unpaid first impressions of the 1000+ in r/redlighttherapy in March 2026 and a follow-up photo in April 2026.
They bought it with a 1500+ and a stand and mounted the pair horizontally over a massage table; both panels arrived well packed in two shipments.
The owner found the brackets and stand simple to assemble and the build solid, but calls horizontal mounting a two-person job that needs the bracket centered for balance.
No other Reddit post naming the 1000+ turned up.
PlatinumLEDSaunaMAX PRO
Two owners posted their SaunaMAX PRO setups in r/redlighttherapy in early 2025, and both are positive.
One runs two units in a 4 by 6 foot traditional sauna at 180 degrees F, above the panel's 150 degree rating; he set them into the wall with the cooling fins outside the cabin, calls them very well built, and read the panel backs at 130 and 133 degrees F after a 30-minute session (February 2025).
The other, who posts a PlatinumLED referral link in the same thread, hung his unit on the glass of a Clearlight sauna using its pre-drilled holes and runs it from the sauna's own outlet (January 2025, still using it in November 2025).

Every written review naming the 1000+ is a desk summary, and none publishes a measurement of this size.
MedGrade (April 2026), which says affiliate commissions fund it, scores it 92 of 100 and claims 30 days of testing but shows no data, and its own device page gives a different irradiance from its review.
Skin Deep Red Light Reviews (January 2026, Mito affiliate code) calls it competitive on cost per watt but lists it at 1,000 W and 150 LEDs against Mito's 270 W and 200.
Red Light Panel Index records Mito's specifications and notes that Mito labels its two irradiance figures inconsistently.
PlatinumLEDSaunaMAX PRO
Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester that received the unit free from PlatinumLED and links it at 5 percent off through a PlatinumLED affiliate link, reviewed the SaunaMAX PRO in writing in February 2025, from its September 2023 video test.
It calls it one of the best options for adding red light to a sauna and praises the silent fanless build, the adjustable intensity and the app control.
It faults the 150 degree F rating, which its own sauna reaches, a power cable it had to run through the sauna door, no way to join panels, a small treatment area inside a sauna and on-panel controls that are hard to read under red light, and it found lower output than PlatinumLED's BIOMAX panels.

No video covers the 1000+.
Light Therapy Insiders (August 2024), which earns commission through a Mito code, tested the earlier 42 x 10 in build of the 1500+ with a spectrometer: 76.5 mW/cm2 average and 87 peak at 6 inches, all four peaks within a few nm of spec, about 52 dB of fan noise and low EMF.
The same reviewer found the controls basic, with no dimming, pulsing or touchscreen, and a 12-inch width narrow for shoulders; the 1000+ is also 12 inches wide.
PlatinumLEDSaunaMAX PRO
Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester whose descriptions carry a PlatinumLED discount link beside SaunaSpace and Clearlight links, posted a first look in April 2023 and a full review in September 2023 (about 9,100 views), both on a unit PlatinumLED supplied.
After several days inside his infrared sauna he calls it one of the top options for in-sauna red light, silent with no fan and usable outside the sauna as an ambient light, and says the 150 degree F ceiling rules out hotter traditional saunas and that the cord kept his door from sealing.
Ben Chill's and Doing Light Therapy at Home's videos count in no pool, because those channels carry SaunaBox, LifePro and Mito codes.

What they say
Mito Red LightMitoPRO 1000+
Mito sells only its two-wavelength 2.0 panels on Amazon US, through its own Mito Red Light Official store; no MitoPRO X, MitoPRO+ or MitoADAPT panel has a rated listing there, and a MitoPRO+ listing added in June 2026 has no ratings.
The MitoMIN 2.0 holds 4.5 from 170 ratings, split 78 percent five-star against 3 percent one-star, and Amazon tags its quality in 30 reviews, 29 of them positive.
The MitoMID 2.0 holds 4.6 from 61 and the MitoMEGA 2.0 4.9 from 19.
Those are simpler 660 and 850 nm panels, so the figures describe the brand rather than this series.
