- Pro owners post in r/redlighttherapy's Kala threads from 2022 to 2025 and in r/30PlusSkinCare (February 2025, 23 comments), none showing a tie.
- Owners called the Pro very well made (2023) and liked its programmable frequencies and pulsing after two years (2024), and two still used it and liked it a year or more on (2025 and 2026).
- Others reported a 7-week wait and a cheaper metal stand than the one pictured (2022), a hard return (2022), an order that never arrived (2023) and a refund paid only after the buyer chased it (2024).
Bon Charge Demi
- No Reddit post names the Demi.
- Of the owners of unnamed Bon Charge panels, two say the panel arrived not working and that a refund or replacement stalled (r/redlighttherapy, July 2026; r/ToBeMagneticSnark, early 2026), and one calls a large Bon Charge panel worth every penny (r/Fibromyalgia, November 2024).

- One level up, Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester with a Kala affiliate link, ranked the Elite third of 17 panels on spectrometer output but 14th overall in his comparison first published in February 2024, faulting hanging wires that snapped, a short cable and gaps between the LED clusters, and Marco Gentile, a market-wide reviewer whose page carries Kala code MARCOGENTILE, rated the Elite Duo, two Elites sold as a set, 3.2 of 5 in December 2025, faulting the lack of dimming and the single-chip LEDs.
Bon Charge Demi
- Three editors used the Demi for about a month each.
- PCMag Middle East (April 2025), whose writer was briefed and sent eyewear by Bon Charge, found setup simple and the build solid, but the stand hinge so stiff that he feared breaking it, and the whole room glowing red during sessions.
- Men's Health South Africa (June 2026), which links Bon Charge's South African store under an affiliate disclosure, liked the plug-in simplicity and listed only the price against it.
- Abu Dhabi Review (February 2025) praised the setup and build after about three sessions a week.

- No video shows the Demi in use; Healthnews' Demi video (June 2026), from a channel holding a Bon Charge code, is an unboxing with no period of use.
- Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester whose description carries Bon Charge code ALEX, reviewed the first-generation Max, then sold as the BLUblox Hive Max, in January 2022 after a period of use: he liked the price, the light weight, the dual-chip LEDs and the simple controls, objected to the 1-year warranty, a missing printed manual, a 60 dB fan and low output for the money, and said he would not recommend it.

- Costco.com lists the Pro (item 2062083, $399.99) with 4 member reviews averaging 3.8, under the 10 a pool needs, and Walmart.com and Sam's Club show none.
- One level up, Costco.com's Elite listing (item 2062084) has 3.9 stars from 11 native member reviews posted July to September 2026, with no syndication or incentive badge: owners praised the price against similar panels and Kala's phone support, and complained of no stand, a flimsy over-door hanger, a remote with no battery, poor instructions and a chemical smell on opening.
