What they say
HoogaFull Body Blanket
Three Reddit owners name the XL size.
A January 2024 buyer chose it over the MitoPod because her children are tall.
A September 2024 owner told a shopper to get the XL.
A January 2025 owner of two XL pods said that at 5 ft 6 she can fit her face inside, but her tall husband has to choose between his head and his feet; she liked having steady light plus two pulse settings.
Owners who don't say which size they have report reliability faults.
Four accounts describe blocks or rows of LEDs going dark; in one of them this happened after 17 months of storing it folded, and the controller display failed too.
One owner says the controller's buttons melted from heat.
Three say Hooga replaced the pod or controller free.
A December 2024 review calling it a "hot plastic coffin" is about the smaller regular Pod.
HigherDOSEFull Body Red Light Mat
Reddit holds no owner account of the Full Body Red Light Mat.
HigherDOSE's light devices are discussed on Reddit almost entirely through the face mask, where r/redlighttherapy and r/30PlusSkinCare threads from 2022 to 2026 carry owners describing a mask-to-controller cable that failed after two to five months, flickering lights and a controller that would not hold a charge, mostly on the build sold before mid-2024.
Support reports are mixed: two owners say HigherDOSE replaced masks already out of warranty (July 2024, November 2025), while others describe slow or missing replies.
A July 2026 r/BeautyTap thread (71 comments) shows HigherDOSE running a free-product review campaign.
The coverage is of HigherDOSE's face mask, not of a mat.

Two written reviews cover this model, and both earn commission from Hooga.
Wareable (May 2026), which earns affiliate commission on its Hooga link, tested the $500 open-box unit of the same 71-inch, 2,680-LED pod.
It found the pod easy to use, comfortable in its soft neoprene shell and wide enough for two people lying flat.
It also noted that the pod must be used on a hard, flat surface and that open-box units may have LEDs out.
RedLightTherapyDigest (August 2026), whose buy buttons are Hooga affiliate links, rated it 4.7 out of 5 and reported quiet running and easy brightness and pulse controls.
Its drawbacks were warmth during use and the hard-surface rule.
The same review lists the smaller Pod's 63 x 24 in size and a 3-year warranty that Hooga does not offer, and it publishes no measurement.
Light Therapy Insiders' written test covers the smaller 1,800-LED Pod, not this model.
HigherDOSEFull Body Red Light Mat
Five hands-on write-ups cover the mat, and every publisher earns on HigherDOSE links.
Hanna Flanagan of The Cut tested it for a month in November 2025, under a buy link carrying HigherDOSE's own sale code; she found it slightly warm against the skin, but laid flat it took so much floor space that she unplugged, rolled and boxed it after every session, it has to stay plugged into a wall outlet, and asked whether a reader needs it, she answered no.
Marco Gentile, an affiliate who earns commission across most of the market, rated it 2.5 out of 5 in March 2026, noting a built-in controller with a matching remote but no choice of intensity or mode beyond the timer, and found the price hard to justify.
Town & Country (November 2025) and The Daily Beast (April 2026, a month of daily 45- to 60-minute sessions) both earn commission and both praised using the mat flat, draped or hung, and Town & Country liked that it rolls up for storage.
Sunset's writer used it in one 50-minute spa class.

HoogaFull Body Blanket
One independent video covers this model.
Stacey Roshan (May 2025, about 2,600 views) bought her own pod; the description carries no affiliate link, discount code or sponsorship.
She found it heavy, like a weighted blanket, and a little warm inside but not too warm.
She said it runs easily from one wall plug feeding both halves, with five power levels, steady or 10 and 40 Hz pulsing, and a timer up to 25 minutes.
She called the price good next to other brands but still high, and said she was not sure she would keep it.
Alex Fergus's widely watched October 2023 test (about 82,000 views) covers the smaller 1,800-LED Pod.
Hooga sent him that unit free, and his description carries a Hooga discount link next to a Mito mat discount link.
HigherDOSEFull Body Red Light Mat
Apart from HigherDOSE's own channel, one video reviews the mat.
Dani Smith says HigherDOSE gave her the mat and links it under her own HigherDOSE discount code; she reviewed it after about four months of use and lists what came in the box: a remote, power cords, a carry bag, over-door hangers and wall hooks.
She keeps the mat hanging on a door between sessions and runs it from the remote or the buttons on the mat at 20, 30, 40 or 60 minutes, bought blackout glasses separately because none come with the mat, and calls the $1,199 price an investment.
Parts of her description, including crystal, charcoal and clay layers, belong to HigherDOSE's PEMF mat rather than this one, and the video measures nothing.

HigherDOSEFull Body Red Light Mat
