What they say
HoogaCharge
One Reddit owner report names the Charge.
In September 2025 an r/redlighttherapy poster who had borrowed a friend's LumeBox and then bought the Charge said she was super pleased with it, found it lighter than the LumeBox and about half its price ($200 at full price against roughly $380 on sale), and said that held against the skin it starts to warm after about five minutes, so she keeps a little distance.
A commenter in the same thread read the unit's label as 12 dual-colour LEDs at 14 W.
In January 2026 another commenter found it listed at $299 and asked whether Hooga had raised the price.
A January 2024 commenter planned to buy one for travel and did not follow up.
No Reddit post reports a Charge failure, battery fault or warranty claim.
Bon ChargeBullet
No Reddit owner reports using the Bullet.
Bon Charge's owners on Reddit (r/redlighttherapy, r/Biohackers and r/SkincareAddiction, 2023 to 2026) write mostly about service: panels that arrived not working, slow email replies, store credit only on orders bought with a large code, and return shipping to Australia at their own cost.

Two written reviews assess Hooga as a company, and three more test single panels.
Light Therapy Insiders earns commission on its Hooga link, and Hooga sent its units free.
Its July 2026 review called Hooga the value pick, with build that does not feel cheap, but faulted support with no phone line or live chat, power figures taken with a solar meter and no published lab reports; that last finding was later edited out of the article.
Wareable, which earns commission on its Hooga links, rated the HG300 4.0 out of 5 in April 2026 as basic and warm, with no glasses in the box.
In August 2026 it found the PRO300, bought from Hooga, good value but warm in long sessions.
Marco Gentile, whose Hooga link earns commission, scored the PRO4500 3.2 out of 5 for its missing dimmer and stands sold separately.
Bon ChargeBullet
No hands-on review of the Bullet is published.
Across Bon Charge's range, monetised editorial testers are mostly positive on build, comfort and ease of use and criticise the price: mindbodygreen, which publishes with Bon Charge's code, on six devices including the Mini and the wand, and Wareable, a market-wide affiliate, on the mask and the wand.
Light Therapy Insiders, a market-wide tester holding Bon Charge code ALEX, ranked the first-generation Max last of 17 panels on output in 2024.

What they say
HoogaCharge
Light Therapy Insiders' Alex Fergus has covered Hooga in more than ten videos since 2022.
Every description carries his Hooga link with a 10 to 12 percent discount, Hooga sent the units free, and at least five videos from March 2024 on carry YouTube's paid-promotion label.
His July 2026 company review (about 4,700 views) found the build sound for the price and called Hooga his usual budget recommendation.
He faulted email-only support, solar-meter power figures, the lack of lab reports and costly international shipping, and said Hooga has at times switched off his commissions.
His April 2026 series comparison put the HG300, PRO300 and ULTRA360 at about 50 to 60 mW/cm2.
The few other channels covering Hooga post short Amazon-affiliate overviews.
Bon ChargeBullet
No video shows the Bullet in use outside Bon Charge's own channel.
Light Therapy Insiders (Alex Fergus), a market-wide tester holding Bon Charge code ALEX, found the first-generation Mini cheap but short on battery (2021) and would not recommend the first-generation Max (2022).
Vesna Kratka, who bought Bon Charge's face mask herself, used it most days for over a year, with a cord repair at 10 months (December 2025).

HoogaCharge
The Charge's Amazon US listing is sold by Hooga Health and shipped by Amazon, priced at $199.
It is rated 4.4 from 58 ratings: 74 percent five-star and 8 percent four-star, against 6 percent each at three, two and one star.
That puts 18 percent at three stars or below, a small low tail that the average hides.
Amazon's review summary tags quality in eight reviews (seven positive, one negative) and functionality in seven (all positive).
Excerpts praise a strong build, the device working as advertised and its use while travelling.
The listing has been live since May 2020, and Hooga released a "Charge 2.0" in 2025, so the 58 ratings may cover both generations.
