Usability
Ultrafiltration is the sensible middle path between a carbon block and full reverse osmosis: 0.01 micron catches bacteria, cysts and particulates while leaving dissolved minerals in the water, which means no drain line, no electricity, no wastewater and no flat taste. The stainless housing is a genuine step up from the plastic manifolds typical at this price. Certification is NSF/ANSI 372 only, covering lead-free materials rather than performance, and it will not reduce TDS, fluoride or nitrate — if those are your target contaminants, this is the wrong tool and an RO system is the right one.
