Usability
Campground water is unpredictable, and this is the cheap insurance against it: a 20 micron inline filter that screws onto any standard 3/4 inch hose in about five minutes with no tools. GAC and KDF media plus a fluoride reducer handle chlorine, taste, odour, fluoride and arsenic, and it carries NSF/ANSI 42 certification for chlorine reduction, which is a real performance standard rather than a materials one. Flow is 0.5 GPM, so it is slow for filling tanks, and the filter lasts three months or 1,350 gallons. Cold water only, since hot water can release captured contaminants back into the stream.
