Rich Solar is the brand of Rich Solar Inc., which says it began in 2005 and keeps its offices and warehouse in Ontario, California.
It sells with a cart at richsolar.com, through a RICH SOLAR Amazon brand store run by the seller SUNRICH ENERGY, on Walmart, and through dealers such as Outbound Power.
The Rich Solar ALPHA 1 LITE (model RS-B121 on Rich Solar's ALPHA 1 Series spec sheet) is a 12.8 V, 100 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery storing 1,280 Wh.
Its BMS allows 100 A continuous charge and discharge, with a 14.4 V maximum charge voltage, 50 A recommended charge current and an 11.2 V discharge cut-off in the manual. It charges at 32 to 131°F and discharges at -4 to 140°F, and its BMS stops charging below freezing and resumes on its own.
It has no heater and no Bluetooth. Up to four connect in parallel; the manual shows no series connection.
The IP65 case is UL94 V-0 flame-retardant plastic with M8 terminals and a carry handle, measures 10.2 x 6.6 x 8.3 in (260 x 168 x 211 mm) and weighs about 24.3 lb by the manual (24.0 lb on the spec sheet and product page).
The box holds the battery, two each of M8 x 12, M8 x 16 and M8 x 20 stainless screws, and the manual. Rich Solar's spec sheet rates it for 4,000+ cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge; the manual's test gives at least 3,200 full cycles to 70 percent capacity.
