The Polar Monkeys Contrast Edition joins a 93-gallon upright barrel and a 120-gallon lay-down tub, both in insulated 316 marine-grade stainless steel, in one body. Each side has its own 1.0 HP ChillX chiller, so one side can run cold while the other runs warm, from 32°F to 107°F.
The manual rates each ChillX at 10,577 BTU, 1,120 W and 11.5 A, and each needs its own dedicated 120 V 15 A circuit. The body measures 90.75 by 33.75 by 41.54 inches, and the reference layout with both chillers takes 166.75 by 33.75 inches. It weighs 573 lb empty and 2,349 lb filled.
Two sets of hoses, pre-filters, flow sensors, filter cartridges and GFCI plugs come with it, along with insulated covers and drain valves. A Chill+ 3-year plan for this system sells at $2,399.00.
