The Morozko Short Ice Barrel is a stainless steel barrel tub inside cedar staves with a tung-oil finish, built for complete submersion outdoors and hand-built to order in Phoenix, Arizona. A 1/3 HP condensing unit and a digital controller hold water down to 32°F, even above 110°F outside.
Water care is microfiltration, cleaned or changed about every 100 plunges, and ozone. A three-prong 110 V cord with an inline GFCI runs it. A warming circuit protects it outdoors down to -10°F with the pump on, and a winterization package is an option.
It is almost 38-1/2 inches across, does not fit a 32-inch door, and weighs nearly 435 lb empty and 1,432 lb full; no gallon figure is printed. A wooden shield-style lid comes standard and takes tung oil yearly, and the barrel can sit inground or in a deck surround. It ships in about 6 weeks.
