MegelinLED Face & Neck Light Therapy Set

Owner accounts of the face and neck set sit mostly inside an r/redlighttherapy thread titled "Megelin" (November 2023, 150 comments, replies to September 2026) that is dominated by returns and refunds. One owner says her set arrived unbranded and that Megelin, after weeks of complaints, called it a warehouse prototype and refunded her in full; another's set stopped working after a few uses and a promised replacement had not arrived a month later (November 2024); a third (July 2026) says hers works but carries a strong plastic smell. Two owners report no problems, one after more than a year of use, and another says the eye protectors leave a mark for about half an hour. In an April 2024 thread (19 comments), an owner says the neck mask's wire kept disconnecting; Megelin told her to tape it, then sent a replacement once she threatened to post about it (January 2025).

No written test covers the face and neck set; the pages that name it restate the Amazon listing under Amazon Associates tags. The nearest hands-on test is of the same 288-LED face mask sold on its own. Wareable (Emilija Kilimaitė, May 2026), which earns affiliate commission across the market, used it for two months at $169 and rates its build, adjustable Velcro straps and battery above a HigherDOSE mask she had used: about two hours a charge, roughly six 20-minute sessions, and a 4-hour recharge. She found the silicone sticky, no eye protection in her box, and the mask at times running warmer than she expected. The neck attachment was not part of that test.

Three videos test the face and neck set. The Lipstick Gal (September 2024) used a set Megelin sent in PR and holds no Megelin code; over 10 weeks the stitching on one Velcro strap came half undone, a row of lights stopped working and the silicone eye cups pressed on her eye sockets after about three minutes, while she found the flexible mask and detachable straps easy to fit and the neck piece hung down the centre of the chest. This is Real Life With Sheri (February 2024, about 6,300 views), whose neck mask Megelin sent and who links Megelin through affiliate links, found both pieces change light mode together, could not bend her head with the neck piece on until she loosened it, and found the nightly assembly long. Alegra Chetti (January 2026, about 24,300 views), who links the Amazon listing and Megelin code ALEGRAM10, found the straps comfortable and felt no heat.

Megelin sells the set on Amazon under two listings with separate files, together 583 ratings averaging about 4.6. The main listing (ASIN B0CPY3NKWB in white, B0CPXZ33M8 in black, one shared file), sold by Megelin Official US and Megelin US and fulfilled by Amazon at $362.70 against $249 on megelin.com, holds 4.6 from 572: 82 percent five-star, 8 four, 4 three, 2 two and 4 one, with reviews from August 2024. Amazon tags reliability in 53 reviews, 38 of them negative, and charging in 38, 16 negative, against quality in 208, 191 positive. Critical reviews describe lights that stopped working within three months, a set that would not charge, a remote that stopped holding a charge after a couple of weeks and a unit that died two days after the return window closed. The second listing (B0G1YGQQJT), now unavailable, holds 4.3 from 11, one of them describing a used-looking set without its controller (March 2026).
