Usability
At 300 GPD the RCB3P produces less than every tankless system iSpring sells for similar money, so the output number is not the reason to buy it. The reason is the 20-inch cartridges and the storage-tank pairing: a salon or cafe with bursty demand gets a buffer and long service intervals rather than a system sized for a kitchen sink. If you want on-demand flow instead, the RCS10T is more system for $36 more.
- 20 by 2.5 inch pre-RO cartridges give long service intervals at commercial volume
- Pairs with 11 or 20 gallon storage tanks to cover burst demand
- Freestanding stainless steel frame with a metal hanging bracket
- Built-in booster pump raises production on weak supply
- 1.5:1 pure-to-drain ratio
- Frame design makes filter changes straightforward at height
- 300 GPD is the lowest output of any commercial system iSpring lists
- Storage tank is not included and is needed for the intended use case
- No NSF/ANSI certification listed
- Needs dedicated wall or floor space rather than a cabinet
- Requires an electrical outlet
- Warranty is 1 year and requires product registration
The iSpring RCB3P is a light commercial reverse osmosis system rated at 300 gallons per day, built on a freestanding stainless steel frame with a metal hanging bracket. It uses 20 by 2.5 inch pre-RO cartridges rather than under-sink sized filters, which is what gives it the service life to run a restaurant, salon, lab or office without weekly attention.
A built-in booster pump raises feed pressure to lift purified water production, and the published pure-to-drain ratio is 1.5:1. Unlike the tankless units in this range, the RCB3P is designed to pair with an 11 or 20 gallon iSpring storage tank so it can meet burst demand rather than only on-demand flow. The tank is not included.
iSpring states it reduces up to 99 percent of over 1,000 contaminants including PFAS, lead up to 98 percent, chlorine, fluoride and arsenic, but publishes no NSF/ANSI certification listing, so those are manufacturer specifications.
