Usability

5.4 out of 10

At 18,000 W continuous it sits on the top rung for a 48 V all-in-one, so it scores 10 on capacity.

Its manual's datasheet gives a 97.6 percent maximum efficiency, which alone would reach the top rung, but it publishes no no-load draw (its energy-saving mode is a 25 W load threshold), and one input alone is capped at 6, so it scores 6 on efficiency.

Its peak of 2 times rated power for 10 seconds is 2.0 times its continuous rating, so it scores 5 on operating range.

It has a zero-transfer UPS mode by Eco-Worthy's page, two built-in MPPT controllers, parallel operation of up to 6 units, CAN and RS485 battery communication, SOLARMAN app monitoring through a Wi-Fi stick and a 360 A AC charger, but its output is 120/208 V three phase rather than 120/240 V split phase, so it scores 8 on features.

No certifier directory (Intertek, UL Product iQ, Certipedia or the CEC inverter list) lists this inverter, by its model name ECO-INV-48V18KWTSR01, and Eco-Worthy's manual shows only FCC and RoHS marks, so it scores 2 on verification.

Eco-Worthy's warranty table does not list this model and gives inverter-chargers 1 year, so it scores 1 on warranty and support.

Warranty and returns

Eco-Worthy's warranty page gives most products 1 year and its 12 and 24 V batteries 3 years, for the original buyer only, against 10 years on its 48 V server-rack and PowerMega batteries and 2 years on its all-in-one inverters, both tiered by age.

Reddit owners mostly report Eco-Worthy batteries holding their rated capacity and are less sure of its electronics. In an r/SolarDIY thread owners said their 100 Ah batteries tested to capacity and that two 12 V 260 Ah batteries in series stayed balanced for a year (February 2024), a UK owner measured nearly 102 Ah from a 12.8 V 100 Ah battery after a year on standby against 104.3 Ah new (June 2025), and in a Renogy-or-Eco-Worthy thread an owner called its batteries and panels fine and its charge controllers and inverters hit and miss (February 2026).

GoogleBrand-level5.0 out of 10

On DIY Solar Forum, an owner running two Eco-Worthy 5000 W inverters in split phase reported them working fine after a year (January 2025), while a buyer of twelve 410 W panels found 7 underperforming and waited about 40 days for replacements (August 2025), and an owner of five 12 V 280 Ah batteries reported 3 faulty from the start (August 2025). The Solar Lab, which carries an Eco-Worthy affiliate link and a discount code, found the 48 V server-rack battery handled surges beyond its rating but failed its low-temperature cut-off test, and its calls to Eco-Worthy support went to voicemail (2025).

Every tester found carries a tie. Will Prowse, whose videos disclose paid promotion or free product and carry affiliate links, found Eco-Worthy's $799 48 V server-rack battery passed his deep-dive tests (2025, about 154,000 views). Mike Builds, whose Cubix 100 video is marked as paid promotion and links Eco-Worthy's affiliate program, measured 99.08 Ah at 0.2C and called it a beast (July 2026, about 218,000 views). There's A Trick For That, which links the battery through Amazon affiliate links, drew 315 Ah, 105 percent of rating, from a 12 V 300 Ah (April 2026, about 25,000 views).
