Usability

5.0 out of 10

At 60 A it sits on the 8 rung for a charge controller, so it scores 8 on capacity.

ECO-WORTHY's spec table gives 98 percent peak charge efficiency but its product page text gives 97 percent, and the lower figure is scored, so it scores 6 on efficiency.

Its manual gives a 150 V maximum PV open-circuit voltage, the 7 rung, so it scores 7 on operating range.

It has a 30 A load output and a user-defined charge profile, but Bluetooth and WiFi come through a plug-in RJ45 module, linking several controllers needs ECO-WORTHY's optional remote meter, and no temperature sensor is listed in the box, so it scores 6 on features.

No certifier directory (Intertek, UL Product iQ or Certipedia) lists this controller under ECO-WORTHY or Xiamen Eco-Sources, and Eco-Worthy's page and manual name no safety listing, so it scores 2 on verification.

Another, with 1,200 W of panels into 5 kWh of lithium and an EcoFlow microinverter on the load output, saw the controller's app report 300 to 350 W of load while the microinverter reported 230 to 240 W (September 2026).

  • Flimsy cable lugs

  • ERROR light and charging stopped within days

On DIY Solar Forum an owner who added the 60A beside his Renogy controller found flimsy cable lugs, a terminal screw that would not tighten and cover holes too small for a large screwdriver; it ran well on day one, then twice showed its ERROR light and stopped charging within days, and ECO-WORTHY sent a replacement without asking for the first unit back (July 2024).

Every tester found carries a tie. Will Prowse, whose videos disclose paid promotion or free product and carry affiliate links, found Eco-Worthy's $799 48 V server-rack battery passed his deep-dive tests (2025, about 154,000 views). Mike Builds, whose Cubix 100 video is marked as paid promotion and links Eco-Worthy's affiliate program, measured 99.08 Ah at 0.2C and called it a beast (July 2026, about 218,000 views). There's A Trick For That, which links the battery through Amazon affiliate links, drew 315 Ah, 105 percent of rating, from a 12 V 300 Ah (April 2026, about 25,000 views).
