Usability
Usability
The LipWare Pro is a lip device with 56 red and near-infrared LEDs at 605, 630, 660, 830 and 880 nm, held against the lips by a removable silicone mouthpiece, in sessions that stop after 3 minutes. Dr. Dennis Gross calls it FDA cleared, and its maker's perioral clearance, K172662 for the reVive Perioral, carries the same two product codes, but that filing describes four LED types with no 830 nm channel, so it does not describe this device and verification scores at the floor. No output figure is published and no independent measurement has been published either, so light output is not scored. The fit complaint reviewers share is the mouthpiece: bringing the LEDs to the lips means biting down or pursing them, and Cassandra Bankson and Her World's reviewer both report jaw ache or clenching. Twelve of the 47 Sephora reviewers who did not receive it free report a unit that stopped working or holding a charge, and the one-year warranty counts only if the device is registered within 30 days of purchase. Amazon rates it 3.8 from 108. It lists at $148 at every retailer carrying it and was $111 in a September 2026 sale on drdennisgross.com.

The LipWare Pro is a rose-gold lip device with 56 LEDs emitting amber at 605 nm, red at 630 and 660 nm and near-infrared at 830 and 880 nm, per its manual. A removable silicone mouthpiece holds it against the lips hands-free, or it can be held in place without the mouthpiece, and every session stops after 3 minutes. It has a single on/off button, charges in 2 to 4 hours over USB-C from a USB-A adapter, and does not run while plugged in.
