Usability
Usability
The EyeCare Max Pro is a flexible eye mask with 96 LEDs at 605, 630, 660 and 880 nm that reaches from the brows to the under-eyes, in sessions that stop after 3 minutes. Dr. Dennis Gross sells it as FDA cleared, but the eye clearance its maker holds, K171386 for the dpl SpectraLite, describes a 28 cm2 periorbital device at 605, 625, 660 and 880 nm, while the Max Pro is sold as the successor to the 72-LED EyeCare Pro with 30 percent more lights over a wider area, so the filing does not describe it and it scores at the floor on verification. No output figure is published and no independent measurement has been published either, so light output is not scored. It is cordless and hands-free with nothing to assemble, and a full charge gives about 10 sessions. The complaint that recurs is a unit that stops charging or working, reported by seven of the 16 Sephora reviewers who did not receive it free, and the one-year warranty counts only from registration, which has to happen within 30 days of purchase. Amazon rates it 3.7 from 57. At $199 it lists $51 below CurrentBody's $249.99 Eye Mask, which traces to a clearance naming its model.

The EyeCare Max Pro is a flexible mask that covers the eye area from the brows to the under-eyes with 96 LEDs, emitting amber at 605 nm, red at 630 and 660 nm and near-infrared at 880 nm, per its manual. It has one button and no modes: every session runs all four wavelengths and stops after 3 minutes. A sealed lithium-ion battery charges in 2 to 4 hours from a USB-A adapter and gives about 30 minutes of use, roughly 10 sessions, and an adjustable silicone strap holds it in place. It replaced the 72-LED EyeCare Pro in 2023.
