Usability
For renters this is the useful version of the fluoride system: the same cartridges as the under-sink unit, connected to the faucet with a diverter and removable in minutes. Six configurations run from a single polypropylene housing at 109 dollars to a triple stainless at 285, and the stainless premium is roughly fifty percent for a housing change with no filtration difference. Crystal Quest publishes 10,000 gallons of capacity and calls that one to three years, which is a wide enough band to be nearly useless for planning, though the system is designed to slow or stop when the media is spent. Flow sits at 0.3 to 0.5 GPM, which is the price of a deep media bed at this size. No configuration appears in any certifier database, so the fluoride reduction is the manufacturer claim and nothing more.
