Usability

6.3 out of 10
  • Charging: 50 A recommended, 100 A maximum, in a 10 to 14.6 V window
  • Peak: 300 A for 8 seconds; undervoltage cut at 10.2 V
  • Cold: charges to -4 °F only while a charger supplies more than 1 A to run the heater
  • Conflict: BLUETTI's Amazon listing words the same rating as 6000+ cycles at 70 percent DOD
  • Comms: LINK IN and LINK OUT ports; Edock box sold separately for third-party devices and above 8 in parallel
  • Searched: Intertek UL CEC TÜV SÜD Certipedia LabTest SGS
  • Record: Intertek ETL, ANSI/CAN/UL 1973, B1210, BLUETTI POWER INC
  • Record: Intertek ETL, ANSI/CAN/UL 1973, B1210, SHENZHEN POWEROAK NEWENER CO., LTD
  • Policy: the warranty policy page lists stations, home backup and panels, not standalone batteries
  • List: $299.00 at bluettipower.com

Heated and sealed, but A 70 percent end point

  • What it is: a 12 V, 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery with a heater, Bluetooth and an IP65 case, for trolling motors, RVs and small solar banks
  • The trade-off: cold-weather charging and a sealed case at a moderate weight, but cycles counted to 70 percent and inverter talk only through an extra box
  • Look elsewhere for: CAN or RS485 to a third-party inverter without an add-on, or a longer warranty

Strengths

  • Charges below freezing with its built-in heater
  • Sealed against dust and water jets
  • Bluetooth monitoring built in
  • Scales to large series and parallel banks
  • Good energy for its weight

Drawbacks

  • Cycle rating counted to a low end point
  • Third-party inverter link needs an extra box
  • Warranty policy page names no battery term
  • No published heater control in the app
