The ROES-PHUV75 is aimed at households on private or intermittently suspect supply who want microbiological treatment behind the membrane. Its strongest attribute is that the UV stage sits after the membrane and the remineralisation cartridge, which is the correct order and means the lamp treats already-polished water. Its weakest is the absence of NSF/ANSI 55, the only performance standard that exists for ultraviolet disinfection, which means the dose this lamp delivers has never been verified by anyone outside APEC. That gap matters more than an unverified taste claim, because a UV system with no rated dose offers no evidence at all against the organisms it is sold to handle. The buyer is also giving up the WQA listing the plain ROES-PH75 holds and paying 98 dollars more, and the lamp needs an outlet and an annual replacement the other Essence models do not.
