Hooga is the light therapy brand of Commerce Trading Group, LLC of New Berlin, Wisconsin, which dates the brand to 2018 and sells direct from hoogahealth.com and through its own Amazon store. Its panels come in three lines that differ by LED: the single-chip HG line at 660 and 850 nm (HG200 to HG1500), the dual-chip PRO line at the same two wavelengths (PRO300 to PRO4500) and the quad-chip ULTRA line at 630, 660, 810 and 850 nm (ULTRA360 to ULTRA4500), with touchscreen controls. It also sells two sealed panels for use inside a sauna, the Ember and the Blaze, a battery belt, a full-body blanket, an acupressure mat with LEDs, the Charge, Torch and Dot battery devices and a facial wand, along with masks, hats and PEMF mats.
No Hooga device has a 510(k), and Hooga states that its finished panels carry no UL or ETL listing. Its HG, PRO and ULTRA panels are listed with the FDA under the exempt ILY product code on the registration of Shenzhen Sungrow LED Technology, the same factory listing that names Mito’s X series and BlockBlueLight panels. Hooga publishes FCC, CE and RoHS certificates from a Shenzhen test laboratory and says the drivers and cords in its PRO panels are UL listed components. Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission from Hooga, measured five Hooga panels on a spectrometer between 2022 and 2025 at 50 to 86 mW/cm2 averaged at 6 in, against Hooga’s figures of 73 to 189, on builds that have since gained timers or touchscreens.
On hoogahealth.com the panels run from $149 for the HG200 to $3,999 for the ULTRA4500, the sauna panels are $800 and $1,400, and the stands the largest panels need are $299 more. Panels carry a 3-year warranty, the blanket and mat 2 years, and the belt and battery devices 1 year. Returns are accepted for 60 days from delivery, with the return shipping deducted from the refund, and open-box items cannot be refunded.
Hooga’s Trustpilot profile reads 4.5 from 75 reviews, most of them invited after Hooga claimed the profile in January 2026, and the BBB rates it B+ without accreditation, with one complaint. On Amazon its panel files read 4.6. Reviewers praise the build and value for money, and owners and testers fault email and AI-first support, output figures far above what testers measure, and return shipping charged on faulty units.
