Products from CurrentBody
CurrentBody is a beauty-device retailer owned by The Beauty Tech Group, and CurrentBody Skin is its own range. Its LED masks, neck masks, helmet and panel are made under contract by Shenzhen Kaiyan in China. In the US it also sells the Dermalux Flex MD, a UK clinic maker’s home device, which is listed here under CurrentBody because CurrentBody is its only US seller.
Three of the eleven devices trace to a 510(k) that names the model: the Eye Mask (K221444), the Hair Growth Helmet (K230336, model MZ-07) and the Flex MD (K202028 and K212275). The others are sold as FDA cleared, but FDA lists the neck masks, the Hand Mask and the Panel only under ILY, a 510(k)-exempt code, and the Series 3 mask, the blue mask and the pen are filed under clearances for other models. The Series 2 face mask’s own 510(k) describes no 1072 nm channel, though the mask on sale has one.
Only two devices have an independent output reading. Light Therapy Insiders, which earns commission on CurrentBody sales, measured the Series 2 face mask at 18.5 mW/cm2 against the 30 CurrentBody states, and the Flex MD at 29 mW/cm2 with all three wavelengths on. The Series 3 masks, launched in September 2026, publish no output figure at all.
Every device carries a two-year warranty that is not restarted by a replacement unit. Returns within 30 days are accepted only for unopened devices, and a fault after six months gets store credit or a replacement rather than a refund. Trustpilot rates currentbody.us 4.4 from 7,523 reviews, which the company invites, while SmartCustomer rates the company 1.9 from 126.
