Its strongest attribute is that both valves are managed from one app, so backwash and regeneration can be staggered rather than colliding on a shared drain. Its weakest is the same certification vacuum as the individual systems, with no NSF/ANSI listing, no reduction percentage and no salt efficiency figure published anywhere in the ECO-SMART line. Buying the two systems separately at list totals $2,763.90 against $2,474.95 for the combo, so the bundle saves about ten percent rather than the amount the compare-at pricing implies. The TrueHome ECO-SMART Combo pairs the Centaur catalytic carbon filter and the metered ion exchange softener as a single point-of-entry installation, sold as 10 GPM with 48,000 grains or 15 GPM with 80,000 grains. Both tanks run Bluetooth-enabled control valves with adjustable backwash, rinse and regeneration settings managed from one app. Warranty is seven years on each valve and ten years on each tank, all made in the USA. It is the only configuration in the range that addresses chlorine, chloramine and hardness together.
