Five Mineral Stages, A Smaller Tank To Fill Them
Expert Score

The ROELITE9 targets a buyer who has decided the single alkaline cartridge on the cheaper models is not enough and wants the mineralisation done properly. Five separate stages is a real architectural difference rather than a badge, and at nearly twice the weight of the standard chassis the build is visibly heavier. The compromise is the tank: 2.2 gallons against 3.2 usable on the standard system, so it draws down noticeably faster during a dinner-service burst even though rated production is higher. Express Water publishes no pH range, no mineral output figures and holds no certification for this model, which for a product sold on mineral content is the central weakness. At three hundred dollars it costs more than the tankless Model 6 that produces six times as much water.

PROS
  • Five distinct mineralisation stages rather than the single cartridge used elsewhere in the range
  • 0.0001 micron membrane rated at 100 GPD
  • Heavier build at 24.7 lbs, roughly double the standard chassis
  • Standard cartridge sizes despite the premium positioning
  • Leak-detection and quick-connect fittings carried over
CONS
  • Smaller 2.2 gallon tank than the cheaper systems, so it empties faster in use
  • No published pH range or mineral output despite being sold on mineral content
  • No NSF listing
  • Costs more than the 600 GPD tankless Model 6
  • One-year warranty
  • Nine cartridges to track and replace

The ROELITE9 is Express Water's premium tank system, built around a 0.0001 micron membrane with five separate mineralisation stages after it rather than the single cartridge used on the ROALK10. Production is 100 GPD into a smaller 2.2 gallon tank, and the assembly weighs 24.7 lbs against 12.8 lbs for the standard chassis. Dimensions are 18.5 x 14 x 5 in.

Social Scores

Social Score

Product-level where an independent pool exists, brand-level elsewhere. Express Water publishes its own rating widget on every product page; that is the manufacturer's own data and is not scored here.

Reddit Score6.0

Brand-level. r/HydroHomies discussion of Express Water alkaline filtration concludes the water does come out alkaline but that strength varies over time. Wider r/WaterTreatment threads recommend the range for taste and value while calling the install involved and the tank bulky.

Google Score6.0

Brand-level. Editorial coverage puts Express Water at the budget end of the multi-stage under-sink category and returns repeatedly to the certification gap: only RO5DX and RO10DX appear in NSF's database, both for TDS reduction alone. Build quality and price score well, evidence for the published contaminant lists does not.
