Waterdrop WHF3T-PG 3-Stage Whole House Water Filter
A three-stage whole house carbon system for municipal water.
$370
Usability
This is the same chassis as the WHF3T-FG at fifty dollars less, with the iron and manganese media swapped for carbon. That makes it the right pick on city water and the wrong one on a well. Seven stages at 5 micron across three housings handles chlorine, sediment, rust and taste where water enters the house, so every shower and appliance benefits rather than just the kitchen tap. As with the rest of the whole house range there is no published NSF/ANSI mark, and fitting it means cutting the main line.
- Fifty dollars less than the iron-targeting WHF3T-FG
- Seven stages of carbon-led media
- Treats every fixture, not just one tap
- 5 micron filtration precision
- Suited to municipal water
- No published NSF/ANSI certification
- Wrong choice for well water with iron or manganese
- Requires cutting into the main line
- Three cartridges to replace
- One-year warranty
The WHF3T-PG is the municipal-water version of the three-housing whole house system, running seven stages of carbon-led media at 5 micron without the iron and manganese stage.
