- On Expedition Portal and DIY Solar Forum, the owner of a 12 V 100 Ah trolling-motor battery bought in November 2023 measured 106 Ah but found the BMS cutting off charge near 13.9 V with its cells out of balance; Power Queen maintained the battery was fine, and he returned it through Amazon for a refund (February 2024).
- On Swimbait Underground an angler running three 12.8 V 100 Ah batteries on his trolling motor posted positive first impressions (July 2024), and on DIY Solar Forum owners of the 12 V 200 Ah reported no problems in early use (December 2021).
Renogy Core Mini 300Ah
- 4WDing Australia, which received the battery free and links it with a 10 percent Renogy discount code, ran it flat, needed over 300 Ah to recharge it and reported more than 70,000 Ah through it without a fault (April 2025, updated July 2025).
