What they say

BLUETTI AC180

  • About nine owner reports on the AC180 in r/bluetti from 2024 to 2026 describe faults: units found dead after months of storage (one at seven months, March 2025), a charge reading that jumped from 3 percent to 100 (April 2025), a unit shutting down at 50 percent, a dead display and a burning smell from the fan area on a new unit.
  • One owner's sump pump lost power when ECO mode switched off the AC output after four hours without load (September 2024), and others report a loud fan in silent charging and a clicking noise.
  • One owner of both the AC180 and the Elite 100 V2 prefers the newer model.

VTOMAN Jump 1800

  • No owner thread outside VTOMAN's own subreddit names the current 1,408 Wh Jump 1800, so this reads the earlier 1,548 Wh-rated Jump 1800 sold under the same name.
  • In r/solar one owner's new Jump 1800 would not charge from its wall charger, and VTOMAN offered to swap it for a Jump 1500 rather than another Jump 1800; a commenter's Jump 1800 failed the first time it was needed in the field (August 2024).

What they say

BLUETTI AC180

  • OutdoorGearLab, which buys its test units and earns Amazon commission, scored it 66 (January 2026), drawing 950 Wh on AC, 82 percent of rated, and charging it in 1.3 hours, and faulted its weight for the capacity and a noisy fan.
  • PCWorld, which earns affiliate commission, drew 1,007 Wh at a 200 W load, 87 percent, calling its AC efficiency class-leading and its DC efficiency mediocre (July 2023).
  • StorageReview drew 1,030 Wh at a 350 W load and needed 1,360 Wh from the wall to refill it.

VTOMAN Jump 1800

  • Both written reviews test the earlier 1,548 Wh-rated Jump 1800.
  • The Gadgeteer, which VTOMAN supplied and which earns commission through store links and passes on a VTOMAN code, measured a 328.5 W wall charger, found wall and solar input do not add together because the unit has one charging circuit, drew about 79 percent of rated capacity on AC, and found the fans loud (April 2025).
  • Active Gear Review, which earns commission through store links, timed a full charge from empty at about five hours, ran a refrigerator for nearly seven hours from 85 percent during an outage, and measured 54.9 dB at two feet while charging (June 2025).

  • 12voltvids' teardown and quick test praised the internal build (April 2023, about 46,500 views).

VTOMAN Jump 1800

  • There's A Trick For That, in a video marked as paid promotion, drew about 1.17 kWh, charged from empty in 4 hours 44 minutes against VTOMAN's 4 hours, found the unit turns itself off after hours with no load detected, which could cut a cycling refrigerator, and saw the inverter drop its voltage rather than shut off above 1,800 W (March 2026).
  • Eric Hernandez, which passed on a VTOMAN promo code, drew 1,231 Wh at 964 W and ran an 1,100 W microwave (March 2025, about 17,100 views).
