Usability
The CTF-01 sits beside the sink and diverts water from the tap through a 304 stainless housing, which is a meaningful step up in build from the plastic clip-on filters at this price. Five stages including a carbon block and four mineral media, 1.6 GPM so it keeps pace with normal use, and a cartridge rated for 8,000 gallons or twelve months, which is twenty-five times the life of the FC-01. Waterdrop is explicit that it does not reduce TDS and in fact may raise it, because the mineralization stage adds minerals back deliberately. No published NSF/ANSI certification, and it will not fit pull-out or spray faucets.
