Usability
The Travel Berkey gets you the Berkey platform in the only size that actually travels, and 2.75 gallons per hour is what that portability costs. It caps at two elements, so unlike every larger system in the range you cannot buy your way out of the wait. Treat it as a one-to-three person or emergency filter rather than a kitchen workhorse.

The Travel Berkey is the smallest of the full-size Berkey gravity systems, holding 1.5 gallons across two nesting AISI 304 stainless steel chambers. It runs on gravity alone, with no electricity, plumbing or line pressure involved.
It ships with two Black Berkey elements, which is also the maximum the upper chamber accepts, and filters up to 2.75 gallons per hour with the top chamber kept full. Two optional PF-2 elements can be fitted below the Black Berkeys to add fluoride and arsenic reduction.
At 18 in. tall and 7.5 in. across it nests down for storage and fits a suitcase, which is why this size is bought mainly for apartments, dorms, RVs and go-bags rather than as a primary kitchen filter.
