Under a deleted one-month Pro review in r/45PlusSkincare (July 2026), one owner a few weeks in reports clearer, less mottled cheeks but no change in lines or firmness. In an August 2026 r/Ulta thread on the Pro's half-price sale, the top reply (67 upvotes) comes from an owner who saw less redness and a more even glow after a month, lost it when she used the mask less, and warns it has to go on bare skin before skincare; another August 2026 r/Ulta owner, in a 56-comment thread on the Pro selling out, reports calmer redness but no change in her forehead lines. A May 2026 r/redlighttherapy owner notes the strip between nose and upper lip carries no LEDs, and in July 2026 one r/40PlusSkinCare owner saw nothing at eight weeks, as did a r/redlighttherapy commenter after months on both the old and new versions. Other users flag several 2026 Solawave threads as seeded by new accounts, Solawave's own account posts in them, and those threads are not counted.

The written reviews are all positive, almost all carry affiliate links or discount codes, several are on units Solawave supplied, and none measures light output. Harper's Bazaar (February 2026) gave it 4 out of 5 after a month, the NY Daily News tester (September 2026) calls it worth $399 after four months but finds it snug over the nose and loose at the bottom, and Vogue (July 2026), which earns commission, notes pressure on the nose bridge and light bright enough that she kept her eyes closed. Cosmopolitan (June 2026), Forbes Vetted (June 2026, with a 30 percent code), SheKnows (October 2025, on a supplied unit) and Good Gear (September 2026, 8 out of 10 after six months) all praise the three-minute session.

Two videos cover the Pro, both on units Solawave supplied. Alder & Jade Reviews (March 2026, about 4,600 views), gifted the mask and earning commission on tagged products, calls it the best mask the channel has tested after three nights but finds the flat shape presses on the nose, the lower straps sit loose and more light reaches the eyes than on other masks. missjackierussell's January 2026 unboxing (934 views) is a sponsored affiliate collaboration with Solawave and Walmart and reports no use beyond one session.

The Amazon US Pro listing, sold by Solawave and fulfilled by Amazon, holds 4.4 from 73 ratings, split 72 percent five-star against 8 percent one-star. Effectiveness is tagged 16 times, 3 of them negative, and the three-minute session and ease of use 6 times each, all positive. The older 10-minute Wrinkle Retreat keeps a separate listing at 4.0 from 119, where reviewers flag eye irritation from the light.

Walmart's Pro listing, sold by Solawave, holds 4.0 from 44 ratings (20 written) when read in September 2026, split 68 percent five-star against 18 percent one-star; it tags ease of use 3 times and a relaxing effect twice, three of the first ten reviews are labelled incentivized, and none read there is attributed to solawave.co. Ulta's Pro listing, out of stock since an August 2026 half-price sale, shows 2.5 from 4, too few to read. For the older Wrinkle Retreat, Ulta's review file surfacing at Target holds 4.7 from 89, incentivized reviews included, against 3.5 from 32 at Nordstrom.
