SOK Battery packs are made by Zhuhai Sepicn Electronics and Technology in Zhuhai, China, for Hocan Group Co Limited of Hong Kong, with SOK Energy Inc of Ontario, California, founded in 2019.
It sells with a cart at us.sokbattery.com, on Amazon through the SOK Battery Store as seller SOK Battery-SUNMAXENERGY, and through dealers including ShopSolar and Current Connected.
The SOK SK12V206H is a 12.8 V, 206 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery storing 2,636.8 Wh in a black-painted metal case of 11.9 x 7.9 x 11.1 in. SOK's spec sheet gives it 50.04 lb, IP50, M8 terminals torqued to 80-100 in-lb, 150 A continuous discharge and 170 A for 4 seconds.
The product page instead prints 48 lb, 170 A continuous and 200 A for 3 seconds. It charges at 40 A recommended and 70 A maximum, at 14.4 to 14.6 V. A heater pad switches on below 32 °F when a charger is connected and supplying enough current, and switches off at 41 °F, when cell charging resumes.
Bluetooth reports to the ABC-BMS phone app, and SOK notes that the state of charge needs two full cycles to calibrate. Up to four connect in series, with a voltage balancer, and up to ten in parallel. The lid detaches, and the BMS and cells are replaceable.
SOK's page prints a 3000-8000 cycle life and a 7-year warranty. The SK12V206PH, the same capacity with a heater in a sealed plastic marine case, sells for $750.00 and lists charging from 32 to 113 °F.
