Chilled Under-Eyes, Six-Minute Sessions, Output Unmeasured

The CryoGlow is Shark's rigid LED mask: 480 light sources in 160 tri-wick packages at 415, 630 and 830 nm, with Peltier-cooled pads that rest under the eyes. Its 510(k), K242796, is Shark's own filing for the CryoGlow and describes the same 480 LEDs, three wavelengths and three light routines, and the FDA device record lists model FW312 under it, so it scores 7 on verification. Shark states a maximum of 128 mW/cm2 from the combined wavelengths, measured at the LED rather than at the skin, and no independent measurement has been published, so light output is not scored. Shark states the chill pads cannot be removed, and they sit where the under-eyes would otherwise take light. Amazon rates it 4.4 from 1,066 and Costco's kit 4.5 from 417, while owners most often name the weight and the marks the pads leave under the eyes. The warranty is two years, with a 60-day money-back guarantee on sharkninja.com. At its $349.99 list price it is $30 below the CryoGlow Plus, and sharkninja.com was selling it at $299.99 in September 2026.

PROS
  • 510(k) K242796 is Shark's own filing and describes this 480-LED mask
  • Blue 415, red 630 and near-infrared 830 nm published
  • Under-eye cooling at three levels, with or without the LEDs
  • Routines of 4, 6 and 8 minutes, hands-free with a remote timer
  • Amazon 4.4 from 1,066; Costco 4.5 from 417
CONS
  • Output never independently measured; the 128 mW/cm2 is Shark's figure at the LED
  • The chill pads block LED light from the under-eyes
  • Rigid 1.5 lb shell; owners report marks and pressure under the eyes
  • Fans audible while the cooling runs, and battery life a common complaint
  • Shark's US product FAQ gives blue as 630 nm, against 415 nm everywhere else
  • Sold at $299.99 against a $349.99 list price on sharkninja.com

The CryoGlow is a rigid face mask with 160 tri-wick LED packages (480 light sources), each emitting blue at 415 nm, red at 630 nm and near-infrared at 830 nm, set in a shell that sits slightly off the face. Four routines run from a handheld remote on a cable: Better Aging (red and near-infrared, 6 minutes), Skin Clearing (a three-phase blue, red and near-infrared routine, 8 minutes), Skin Sustain (all three, 4 minutes) and Under-Eye Revive, which chills two metal pads under the eyes with Peltier coolers and fans at three levels, alone or with any LED routine. The battery sits in the remote and charges over USB-C. It weighs 1.5 lb and comes in seven colours; this row is Frosted Green, FW312SG.
