Redodo is the brand of Shenzhen Maicheng Technology Innovation Co., Ltd. of Shenzhen, China, which holds its US trademarks and FCC grants, and its press releases give 2020 as its founding year.
It sells direct from redodopower.com, which ships US orders from US warehouses, and through its own Amazon and Walmart seller accounts, with separate stores for Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Japan.
The Redodo 2000W (store SKU R12V2KW-Z1) is a 12 V pure sine wave inverter rated at 2,000 W continuous and 4,000 W peak surge, delivering 110 V AC at 60 Hz. Its spec table gives 90 percent efficiency, a 10.0 to 15.5 V DC input range, 14.17 x 6.81 x 2.99 in and 8.82 lb. Redodo's manual for this inverter (RO-2000W) gives at least 90 percent efficiency, a 10.5 to 16.0 V input range, low-voltage protection at 10.5 V and over-voltage protection at 16.0 V, an operating range of -4°F to 104°F, 14.17 x 7.42 x 4.02 in with its mounting part and 9.04 lb; it shows AC outlets, a hardwire AC terminal block (L, N, G) for 1,000 to 2,000 W loads, a USB-A port (5 V, 2.4 A) and a USB-C port, and names no no-load draw. The manual lists in the box two 1.64 ft battery-to-inverter cables, a 3.28 ft ground cable, a wired remote with an LCD on a 14.76 ft cable and two brackets for it, mounting screws with plastic anchors and a socket wrench; the remote's screen shows DC input voltage, temperature, battery remaining capacity, frequency, AC output voltage and output power, and switches the inverter on and off. The product page's feature text instead lists two 1.97 ft 8 AWG M8 ring-terminal cables, four mounting screws and plastic anchors. Protections cover over-voltage, low voltage, high temperature and overload, with fan cooling. Redodo also sells it in its 2.1kWh Off-Grid Solar Kit with the 12V 165Ah battery and the 40A MPPT ($728.42) and in its Lead-to-Lithium Upgrade Kit with the 12V 320Ah Mini ($953.17 with a 40A charger; $1,258.10 with a 40A charger, the 40A MPPT and the 40A DC-DC).
