The iSpring RO1200AK is the dual-flow RO1200 with the taste-polishing carbon stage replaced by an AK mineral filter that restores calcium, magnesium and potassium after the membrane. Everything else carries over: 1,200 gallons per day, 0.83 GPM, and a 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio.
The dual-flow faucet gives carbon-filtered water on the left handle for rinsing and washing, and full reverse osmosis with remineralization on the right for drinking, coffee and formula. Keeping everyday rinsing off the membrane extends its service life.
The faucet shows live inlet and outlet TDS in RO mode, and auto-flush plus filter-life alerts handle maintenance. Cartridges are FPCA1200 at 12 months and MRO1200 at 24 months. iSpring publishes no NSF/ANSI certification listing for the RO1200 platform.
