The Husqvarna Automower 435 iQ AWD (article 970 74 52-05, model AM435iQAWD) is an all-wheel-drive, wire-free robotic lawn mower with a pivoting rear body that positions itself by Husqvarna's EPOS satellite system.
It takes correction data from Husqvarna Cloud where that is available, or from the EPOS reference station in the box. Husqvarna lists 1.3 acres in its specifications and 0.9 acre for complex lawns, and its manual gives 0.9 acre mowed in an irregular pattern and 1.25 acres mowed in stripes.
It is rated by Husqvarna for slopes up to 70% inside the lawn and 50% at the boundary. Husqvarna lists a typical mowing time of 145 minutes and a charging time of 45 minutes on its 18 V, 8 Ah lithium-ion battery, and prints no area per charge.
It cuts an 8.7 inch path with three pivoting blades, set electrically from 1.2 to 2.8 inches (the page FAQ says 2.9), and senses objects with ultrasonic sensors. Husqvarna rates it at 60 dB(A) perceived noise and IPX4, and says its underside is not approved for hose washing.
It measures 36.6 x 21.7 x 13.1 inches and weighs 39.9 lb, connects by cellular and Bluetooth, and carries GPS theft tracking, a GeoFence, an alarm, a PIN code and lift and tilt sensors. The box holds the mower, charging station, EPOS reference station, power supply, 33 ft low-voltage cable and 6 extra blades.
