A Hidden Listing For A Cradle-Free 12-Laser Comb

The Pro 12 is a single-button 12-laser comb that hairmax.com sells at $299.99 but leaves out of its search, device pages and comparison chart: 12 lasers at 655 nm, under 5 mW and Class 3R in the manual, moved every 4 seconds for 8 minutes, three days a week, and charged by cord. Its product page carries two sentences and no specifications; every figure here comes from HairMax's manual. K103368 describes HairMax's 12-diode Professional 12 comb, and the registration lists the Professional 12 under it, so it scores 7 on verification on the name and the matching 12-laser comb; GUDID's Pro 12 record carries no premarket number. It costs 99 cents more than the Ultima 12 Classic, which adds a charging cradle. Walmart's 30 reviews are 13 from HairMax and 17 written on Walmart, all five-star and 10 of them flagged incentivised. The warranty is 1 year.

HairMax holds 4.4 from 424 Trustpilot reviews on hairmax.com (TrustScore shown as 4.5), split 68 percent five-star against 17 percent one-star, with 103 posted in the last 12 months, all organic; the profile has been claimed since October 2018, the company has no recent record of inviting reviews, and it replies to 92 percent of negative reviews, typically within a week. Most recent five-star entries praise named support staff, while the 2025-2026 one-star reviews center on a cap power pack that failed twice in 14 months, the 20 percent fee on guarantee returns, order delays with no updates, and an international order held at customs. The hairmax.co.uk profile is unclaimed, with one 2021 one-star review. BBB carries two HairMax entities: Lexington International, LLC, the original company, now flagged out of business and unrated, with 4 complaints in three years about caps and combs failing out of warranty and wrong replacement cords; and Hairmax International, LLC, formed in 2024 when the brand was acquired, rated A and accredited since July 2026, with 2 resolved complaints. SmartCustomer (formerly Sitejabber) lists hairmax.com with 3 reviews from 2014 and 2018, two of them about unrelated products, and ConsumerAffairs carries no HairMax page. hairmax.com runs its own Bazaarvoice review widget and advertises "Average 4.6 Rating | 12,928 Reviews", compiled from its own site, Amazon, retailers and Google, figures no pool counts. No retailer pool is scored for the Pro 12: of the 30 reviews on its one US retailer listing, at Walmart, 13 are HairMax's own and 10 of the 17 written on Walmart carry Walmart's Incentivized Review flag, which leaves 7, under the ten-review floor.
