Typical folding panel, no output guarantee

  • What it is: a 200 W four-section ETFE folding panel with rear kickstands and a standard MC4 lead
  • The trade-off: typical folding-panel efficiency and a self-setting stand, but no output guarantee and a splash-only weather rating
  • Not checked: the temperature coefficient and bypass diodes; FOSSiBOT publishes neither for this panel
  • Look elsewhere for: an output guarantee, a station adapter cable in the box or more watts per pound

Strengths

  • Typical module efficiency for a folding panel
  • Rear kickstands set the angle
  • Splash-rated sunlit side
  • Scratch-resistant ETFE front
  • Standard MC4 lead suits many stations

Drawbacks

  • No power-output warranty
  • No temperature coefficient published
  • No station adapter cable listed
  • Manual and product page disagree on the warranty
  • Not meant to be left out in rain

The FOSSIBOT trademark in the US belongs to Shenzhen Qichang Network Technology Co., Ltd. of Shenzhen, China.

  • FOSSiBOT sells FOSSiBOT in the US from us.fossibot.com, whose terms name the operator only as FOSSiBOT, and its Trustpilot page gives an address in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong.
  • FOSSiBOT sells its 200 W and 420 W ETFE folding panels with a cart at us.fossibot.com and on Amazon US through its own store, sold by FOSSiBOTDirect Store.
  • FOSSiBOT also sells on Walmart as its own marketplace seller, FOSSiBOT Official, which lists the 200 W panel.

The FOSSiBOT SP200 (model SP200 on its manual and spec table) is a four-section folding panel of monocrystalline cells under an ETFE laminate, with rear kickstands and a protective carry case.

It is rated 200 W, with 18 V and 11.1 A at maximum power, 21.6 V open-circuit and 13.3 A short-circuit, and FOSSiBOT markets cell efficiency of up to 23.4%. Unfolded it measures 20.91 x 94.49 in (531 x 2400 mm), folded 20.91 x 25.20 in (531 x 640 mm), and it weighs 17.73 lb (8.04 kg).

Its sunlit side is rated IP67 against splashes, though FOSSiBOT says not to leave it in rain or snow, and it is rated to work from 14 to 149 °F (−10 to 65 °C).

It ends in a 1.5 m lead with standard MC4 connectors, and FOSSiBOT says it charges stations whose MC4 input accepts its output; no station adapter cable is listed with it. FOSSiBOT's US warranty policy and the product page give 2 years, while the manual says 12 months.

It sells at $299.00 on us.fossibot.com, and the F1800 station kits on the same store add one SP200 for $678.00 or two for $927.00.
