HigherDOSE is the wellness brand of HigherDOSE LLC of New York, which began in 2016 as an infrared sauna studio and now sells infrared sauna blankets, PEMF mats, saunas and red light devices from higherdose.com, its own Amazon store and retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta and Costco. Its light range is a face mask, a neck and chest panel, an LED baseball cap, a full-body LED mat and a handheld tool that pairs LEDs with electrical current, and it also sells a showerhead filter with a red light ring.
The devices are made by Shenzhen Kaiyan Medical Equipment, which holds the 510(k) clearances HigherDOSE cites: K241933 for the face mask, K242363 for the Red Light Hat and K252603 for the light function of the Body Sculptor. Intertek’s directory lists the face mask and Neck Enhancer as ETL Classified to the ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 medical safety standard. No 510(k) describes the Neck Enhancer or the Full Body Red Light Mat, and HigherDOSE publishes no measurement of any device’s light output.
On higherdose.com the light devices run from $349 for the face mask and Neck Enhancer to $1,199 for the mat. Every one carries a 1-year limited warranty, with shipping paid both ways for a claim, and orders placed on higherdose.com can be returned within 120 days for a refund with a prepaid label; Amazon orders get 45 days.
HigherDOSE holds 3.9 from 132 Trustpilot reviews, and the BBB rates HigherDose LLC F without accreditation, with 13 complaints in three years. Its most-reviewed light device, the face mask, reads 3.7 from 281 ratings on Amazon. Reviewers praise how easy the devices are to wear and use, and owners most often fault mask cables and battery packs that fail within months, a short warranty and slow support.
