Usability
This is the version of the Serene line with a published flow rate, and 15 GPM plus a million-gallon media rating puts it in genuine whole-house territory rather than the small-home bracket the Serene Lite occupies. The four stage arrangement adds real carbon filtration to the conditioning media, so unlike a bare descaler it does something measurable to chlorine and taste. The price is where the argument gets difficult: at $1,349.99 it costs six hundred dollars more than the 64,000 grain Harmony softener, which removes hardness outright, and roughly nine hundred more than the Serene Lite. Aquasure's spec sheet marks PFAS reduction as Yes with no percentage, no test method and no certification behind it, which is a claim to treat as marketing rather than data. The system holds no NSF listing of any kind. It earns its place where salt discharge is restricted and the household needs the flow, and it is hard to justify anywhere else.
- Rated 15 GPM with a 1,000,000 gallon media life, genuinely sized for a four-bathroom home
- No salt, no electricity, no drain line and no regeneration
- Four stage arrangement adds carbon filtration rather than conditioning alone
- Includes a triple purpose pre-filter instead of selling it as an add-on
- Five year warranty on activation within 60 days
- Costs six hundred dollars more than the 64,000 grain softener, which actually removes hardness
- PFAS reduction marked Yes on the spec sheet with no percentage, test method or certification behind it
- Does not remove hardness minerals: Aquasure prints this disclaimer on the page itself
- No NSF certification on this or any Aquasure finished system
- Only one review on the manufacturer's own page and no independent coverage located
- No published connection size, which matters on a point-of-entry system at this price
The Aquasure Serene Series 15 GPM is the full-size salt-free conditioning system, rated by the manufacturer for four or more bathrooms and up to five people. Aquasure describes it as a four stage filtration process rated for 1,000,000 gallons, running without salt or electricity and paired with a triple purpose sediment, carbon and copper-zinc pre-filter. The specification sheet marks chlorine, chemical, scale, sediment and PFAS reduction as Yes, and lead, iron and TDS as No.
