Usability
This is the most expensive residential package US Water sells and it exists for a specific, miserable water profile: high iron, manganese and rotten-egg sulfur odour plus hardness on top. Hydrogen peroxide oxidation is more aggressive than aeration and handles higher iron loads and dissolved sulfide that air injection leaves behind, and proportional injection avoids the overdosing that fixed-rate chemical feed produces at low flow. Sequencing is right: oxidise and filter the iron before it reaches the resin, because iron fouling is what kills softening resin on well water. The commitment is real, though. Peroxide is a consumable you will keep buying, the injection pump is a maintenance item, and none of this is a weekend job. Get a full well water analysis before ordering; sizing this system off guesswork is how people end up with an expensive machine that does not fix the smell.
