- In a November 2023 r/redlighttherapy thread comparing it with Omnilux (25 comments, replies running to March 2026), several owners report that the cable joining the mask to its battery controller failed within two to three months, and one says a replacement failed again at about three months; another reports burns from two replacement units and a refund paid against a signed release of claims.

- Amazon's aspect tags show ease of use in 34 reviews, all positive, comfort in 22 (20 positive) and quality in 30 (20 positive), against durability in 20 (18 negative) and battery life in 19 (11 negative).

- The one-star reviews are dominated by masks that stopped working or flickered after two to seven months, most often at the cable joining mask and controller, and owners report that Sephora would not exchange after its return window.
