The Sun Home Pod is a one-person indoor far infrared sauna shaped as a round cylinder, in Japanese cedar with ten far infrared heaters and a built-in red light panel on its own controls. Sun Home rates it up to 165°F and lists 1,710 W and 14.2 A on a dedicated 120 V 20 A circuit with a NEMA 5-20 plug and an 11 ft cord.
It is 40.1 inches across and 77.5 inches tall outside, 35.4 inches across and 72 inches tall inside, and weighs 385 lb; it ships in one 478 lb crate. An app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, an onboard touchscreen, chromotherapy and Bluetooth audio are built in. Sun Home prints patented shielding but no EMF figure for the model.
Sun Home commissioned and paid for an EMF survey by Vitatech Electromagnetics (report VTE-3534, January 2025); the published summary names no model and gives 0.6 to 4.0 mG at 1 ft and 0.3 to 0.9 mG at 3 ft, the seated distance it states.
