The SaunaBox Forge Outdoor is a one-person traditional dry sauna with a Canadian hemlock interior, matte black aluminium cladding over a cedar frame, and a full-length black-tinted tempered glass door. Harvia makes its heater, a 3.5 kW Vega Compact BU stone heater, model HCBU352401.
The maker rates the cabin up to 200°F, measured above the heater at the ceiling, and about 25 to 45 minutes to 170°F from cold. It measures 43.3 by 41.3 by 80.7 inches outside and 39.4 by 37.8 by 72.8 inches inside, and weighs about 472 lb.
It is hardwired to a dedicated 240 V double-pole circuit, typically 20 A, drawing 14.4 A and about 3,620 W at peak with its light and fan. A powered fan with low intake and ceiling exhaust, RGB lighting, raised feet, a backrest, sauna rocks, a bucket and ladle and a foot stool come with it.
It is built for year-round use outdoors and can also go indoors; white glove assembly is $1,300.00.
