The KBO K Series K1 is a step-over folding e-bike with a thumb throttle, a removable 48 V, 10.4 Ah battery of 499 Wh (48 V nominal times 10.4 Ah) and a 500 W sustained rear geared hub motor. It has 160 mm mechanical disc brakes, an XC-140AD-20 front suspension fork, Chaoyang 20x3 tires and a Shimano 7-speed derailleur.
The manual gives 55 lb with the battery and a 280 lb maximum system weight. It folds at the frame and stem to 35 x 20 x 28 in. The maker claims 20 mph and up to 45 miles on pedal assist or 25 miles on throttle alone. A rear rack and full fenders come with the bike.
The K2 step-through twin sells on the same listing at the same $999.00; its battery is a different shape and does not swap with the K1's. A spare K Series battery lists at $199.00 and reads sold out.
