- Kaabo scooters are made by Ningbo Kaabo Technology Co., Ltd., of Ningbo, China, the company named in the user manuals.
- Reco Pev Limited, a California corporation trading as Kaabo USA from Fremont, is the official US distributor.
- Kaabo USA sells the Mantis commuter and Warrior off-road lines through its own store at kaabousa.com.
- No Kaabo scooter is sold on Amazon US by the brand or its official store.
- None of the major US retailers (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowe's, Dick's Sporting Goods) sells Kaabo scooters as the seller; Kaabo sells through its own site and specialist e-scooter dealers (October 2026).
The Kaabo Urban is a folding commuter scooter with a single 500 W rear hub motor (1,092 W peak) and a 48 V, 10.4 Ah battery of 499 Wh. The store lists a 54.6 V charger; that is the charge voltage of a 48 V nominal pack, and Wh here is nominal volts times amp-hours.
It has 120 mm disc brakes with EABS (the store does not say which wheels or whether they are mechanical), C-type spring suspension front and rear, and 8.5 x 3.0 in CST tubeless tires. It weighs 44 lb and is rated for a 220 lb rider.
The maker claims 25 mph and up to 25 miles of range on flat ground, with three speed modes, a pedestrian mode and a park mode. It has an embedded display, a headlight, turn signals and a brake light, and the store FAQ states IPX6. Black, Green, Yellow and Blue all sell for $799.00 and are in stock.
