Cordless And Cheap, Too Unspecified To Score

The Flex is iRestore's cheapest body device and the cordless one, with a 6,000 mAh battery rated for six 30-minute sessions. It is not scored: iRestore publishes no width, so its coverage cannot be read, and no output figure, which leaves five criteria. iRestore calls it FDA registered, which is not a clearance, and its amber, red and near-infrared peaks do not match the Sculpt's clearance; SFGate's write-up calls it cleared, wrongly. Men's Fitness, which earns commission, wore it for a week and found its effect gradual and weaker than compression boots. Amazon rates it 3.8 from 50, and critics report belts that stopped working within two weeks. The warranty is one year, and at $299 it is $200 less than the Sculpt.

iRestore does not publish enough of this product’s specifications for it to be scored against our eight criteria.

iRestore's Trustpilot profile for irestorelaser.com reads 3.7 from 1,364 reviews, which the company invites, and the 699 of the past twelve months split 59 percent five-star against 25 percent one-star. Critics there and on Reddit describe a 12-month money-back guarantee on the hair helmets that refunds the price less a 25 percent service fee and return shipping. The maker, Freedom Laser Therapy Inc of Irvine, California, is not BBB accredited and is rated F, with 30 complaints closed in three years and eight left unanswered. Lookalike domains such as irestore-helmet.com, which calls itself the official website, are not the company's store. The belts' only videos are on iRestore's own channel, and no US retailer shows reviews of them.
