The Ice Barrel 500 Bundle pairs the Ice Barrel 500, a rotomolded upright tub with built-in steps and an internal seat, with the separate Ice Barrel Chiller. The product page gives 94 gallons (356 litres), while the brand's Amazon store gives 105. Polyurethane foam rated R-16 fills the walls and the lid.
The tub measures 57.6 by 30.7 by 42.1 inches, weighs 104 lb empty and about 886 lb full, and fits users up to 6 feet 9 inches. The chiller is a ½ HP unit rated to cool water to 37°F, though its own FAQ says the water often settles around 39°F; no BTU/hr figure is published.
It runs on 115 V with a 15 A fuse rating, plugs into a household outlet through a GFCI module on its cord, and is controlled from a 7-inch colour display or the Ice Barrel app over Wi-Fi. The chiller weighs 65 lb, uses R290 refrigerant and a 50 micron filter, and has no heating mode.
In the box are the barrel, its lid, a UV cover, a drain spout to assemble, 3/4-inch NPT chiller ports, two 6-foot quick-connect hoses and the chiller.
Bought separately the parts cost $1,749.99 for the tub and $3,999.99 for the chiller; a Chiller Kit ($134.99), a Maintenance Kit ($179.99) and Water Stabilizer ($59.99) are sold as add-ons.
