It runs an auto-timed 6-minute daily session from a rechargeable battery pack, and it is the only Capillus cap with a 5-year warranty, stated on its product page though Capillus's warranty table has no MD DUO line. Capillus sells it as FDA-cleared and the registration lists it under K162994 and K163170, but neither describes a 320-laser cap or any near-infrared laser, so it scores 2 on verification. At $3,699 it is the most expensive Capillus cap, $1,000 more than the Spectrum, which has the same 40 near-infrared lasers and 8 fewer red ones, while a physician dealer lists it at $3,200.
